11 June: 19.30: Gallery opens
20-22.00 POSTmodern discussie, eten (met soep+brood en wat je meeneemt), workshoppen en meer. A "POSTmodern" evening of showings, discussion + activity. Bring food to share in a “POST” meal from 8 p.m. onwards. The gallery is open from 7.30-10 p.m. If needed there will be translation into English.
“POST” Theatre by Roggeveen|Olijerhoek in the garage during the opening with just 40 of the 120 or more at the opening.
25 June: 19.30 Gallery is open.
20.00-20.30 concert: The Happy Acorns met acoustische meemrstemmige americana covers Concert by the Leiden acoustic folk music band, “The Happy Acorns”
21.00-22.00: meer: POST discussie, eten, workshoppen met Gideon, Erik + Sonja More “POST” discussion + workshop.

A taste of the very “POST” experience on June 11th in Galerie de Pieter. It was a show within a show or post post. Theatre makers, Gideon Roggeveen Erik Olijerhoek hosted the event as a television programme (uitzending) now broadcast on youtube. Enjoy!

The highlight of the evening was the in depth interview with a previous employer of the very post office this gallery is now located in. He shared many a dark secret and gave some insights into the ‘pre’-history of life as an employee of the postal service which in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands post offices are becoming of the past.
